Doors of Change is a Nonprofit organization that has helped place over 1800 Homeless Youth in San Diego in long term safe housing over the past 16 years. San Diego is #4 in the nation for Homeless Youth. In order to build trust quickly, we go on outreach from 1pm-3pm on Sundays and talk to homeless youth around the Ocean Beach area. We give them water, socks, and invite them to our award winning music & art program. The program is every Sunday at the Episcopal Church in Ocean Beach from 4-6pm where they receive Art and Music lessons, a home cooked dinner, clothes, shoes, and work with a case manager to get ID's, health insurance, food stamps, & psychological services.

We need Volunteers to ideally commit to a minimum of 1x/month from 1pm- to 6pm on Sundays to volunteer for Outreach & the Art program. You must be 18 years of age to volunteer. This is an amazing experience. You will be trained in outreach and will be asked to head up the Art Program.

You will be deeply touched by this experience and we appreciate your interest in volunteering. Thank you. Jeffrey Sitcov, President & Founder.
