WE NEED VOLUNTEERS WHO HAVE TRUCKS, VANS, OR SUVS TO PICK UP FOOD IN THE MORNINGS AND AFTERNOONS AT VARIOUS GROCERY STORE LOCATIONS IN NORTH INLAND SAN DIEGO. THE FOOD PICKED UP NEEDS TO BE BROUGHT TO THE COMMUNITY FOOD CONNECTION IN POWAY, UNLOADED AND PUT INTO OUR REFRIGERATORS, SHELVES OR UNTO OUR TABLES. WE PICK UP FOOD 7 DAYS A WEEK.

Welcome to The Community Food Connection where we bring food to over 300 needy families each month (over 15,000 individuals each year) from the Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Penasquitos, Sabre Springs, and Scripps Ranch communities. We provide produce, bread, canned goods, dried goods, and meat through our partnership with the San Diego Food Bank and others. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit and our EIN is 46-4584038.
