Puget Sound Sage is seeking an individual to participate in a part-time, unpaid Events & Development volunteer opportunity from August 2017 - December 2017.
Volunteer Overview
This position is ideal for a dedicated and detail-oriented team player with a high degree of self-direction and motivation. The volunteer will report to the Development and Finance Manager. Volunteer can expect to support projects that advance the goals of the organization while building a professional portfolio. Projects may include:
- Events: Provide event support on Puget Sound Sage’s 10th Anniversary Celebration in November 2017. Tasks include volunteer coordination, in kind sponsorship requests, communications, gift processing, data entry and event logistics.
- Development: Provide support on gift processing, donor profiles, media tracking, organization communications, as well as Sage’s monthly sustainers program.
Volunteer Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Detail oriented with ability to follow instructions and follow-up on assigned tasks
- Ability to manage a variety of projects and complete duties in a timely manner
- Have strong verbal and written communications
- Interest in event planning/fundraising a plus
- Passion for social, economic, and racial justice
