Runaway Stage Productions is a non-profit theatre company currently in fundraising mode for our new Performing Arts Center in West Sacramento. Part of that fundraising includes running a fireworks booth located at the Safeway in midtown on Alhambra Drive.
We are looking for volunteers to sell fireworks in the booth as well as sign wavers on the sidewalk. Only those 18 years and older can sell fireworks in the booth; however, any age can wave a sign on the sidewalk!

Runaway Stage Productions, Inc. (RSP) is an organization dedicated to producing high quality community theatre and enriching the lives of children through teaching. With the Youth Musical Theatre Workshop program, children receive a personal, creative experience in the theatre arts. With the Storybook Children’s Theatre, families of all social economic backgrounds have access to inexpensive quality live musical theatre. Our Broadway style shows bring live theatre to the greater Sacramento area with affordably priced tickets that provide the full experience including a live orchestra. Shows from the classics to new Broadway hits are presented in this year-round musical theatre company. As a strong award-winning community-based organization, with the passion of our artists, actors, musicians, directors and designers inspire the quality productions that we produce making RSP one of the best in the area and a worthy community effort to support.
Description
Runaway Stage Productions (RSP) began serving the region’s theatre community in 1997 at the Eagle Theater in Old Sacramento and now performs at the 24th Street Theater at the Sierra 2 Center. It is the only community theatre company in the greater Sacramento Area that is privileged to have an 18-piece Resident Orchestra dedicated to providing live music during performances.
The company stages six Broadway style productions each season, and six original Storybook Children’s Theater shows, which are tailored towards younger audiences yet enjoyable for the whole family.
RSP also offers education and enrichment of all audiences through its Youth Musical Theatre Workshops which introduce school age children to the theatrical experience. RSP provides a new learning opportunity through the "Broadway Kids" series, which introduces children between the ages of four to ten to the stage in a fun and nurturing environment.
