Remita Health Hospice is seeking compassionate, reliable and caring individuals who have a current cosmetology license and are interested in providing services and serving hospice patients in private homes and long-term care facilities throughout Riverside and San Bernardino counties. No medical experience is necessary. Volunteers will receive all the necessary training and support to ensure that your experience is positive and enjoyable. Description
Health Essentials Volunteers offer the human touch to hospice care. They are men and women of all ages working at various jobs or going to school. They are homemakers or seniors enjoying retirement and they live in the communities across Riverside and San Bernardino County. Volunteers laugh and cry with patients or family members, while building relationships. Sometimes all that is needed is someone to sit quietly and hold a hand, play music, or sing a song. Patient assignments are made as close to the volunteer's home as possible. No medical training is necessary, and training is free.
