Mission Statement
Our mission is to empower people to reach their full potential, to be self-supporting and to live cooperatively with all others.
Description
Central Community House has been serving the people of near east side Columbus since 1936 in the settlement house tradition. Our mission is to empower people to reach their full potential, to be self-supporting and to live cooperatively with all others.
CCH offers a variety of programs designed to strengthen family, neighborhood and community life within an identified service area that includes most of the southeast quadrant of the county.
A United Way agency, CCH is a multi-service community center focusing on youth and family programs and neighborhood support and development initiatives. By highlighting the assets of our community residents, we serve as a bridge of transition between dependency and self-sufficiency. Our primary aim is to address the issues that promote stronger children, stronger families and ultimately, stronger communities.
