The Commonwealth Shakespeare Company is looking for volunteers for its 22nd season of FREE Shakespeare on the Common. This summer's production of Romeo and Juliet will be performed Wednesday, July 19th through Sunday, August 6th near the Parkman Bandstand on the Boston Common.

Volunteering for the show(s) requires arriving at the Common two hours before showtime ; shows typically begin at 8pm Tuesdays through Saturdays, 7pm on Sundays, and 3pm for a matinee performance on Saturday, August 5th. Volunteer responsibilities include: passing out playbills, setting up and breaking down chairs and tents, selling merchandise, collecting surveys, cleaning up at the end of the night, and other duties assigned by the Front of House staff. Volunteer duties will conclude approximately three and a half hours after showtime .

Volunteers do not need to be present at every performance; feel free to sign up for as many (or as few) shows at which you will like to help out. Additionally, all volunteers are invited to view the production from the seated Friends section of the audience when not performing duties.
