The Spring Institute's Ready Tots program is looking for volunteers to help with a Health, Nutrition, and Literacy Camp for refugee and immigrant children this summer!

Ready Tots is a year-round early childhood and parenting education program with a focus on refugees (all of whom arrived legally and have permanent residency status in the US). It is a component of Project SHINE, which has been providing health literacy training, resource connections, and community engagement support to refugee families since 2010.

We are in need of responsible and caring volunteers to assist with the annual Ready Tots summer camp for refugee children and youth living in the East Colfax neighborhood. Camp will take place in late June and July for two hours each week, and volunteers with one or more of the dates available are welcome to apply. Your duties will include helping run various creative activities, as well as activities in physical health, nutritional health, and literacy help.

Camp Dates:

June 28, 12-2 pm

July 5, 12-2 pm

July 12, 12-2 pm

July 19, 12-2 pm

July 26, 12-2 pm

August 2, 12-2 pm
