Discovery Home Care Inc. is seeking a web designer to build an online clothing store for Sandra's Closet & Boutique which will help fund the youth emergency shelter.
Sandra’s Closet & Boutique will not only offer shoppers a place to find bargains but will also serve as a community provider of items to youth residing in alternative living and shelters. Sandra’s Closet and Boutique offers free clothing for young adults in need of professional attire for job interviews.
Sandra’s Closet & Boutique will be a major funding source for DHC youth emergency shelters. "Federal funding has dried up reducing government funding for nonprofits. Without providing a steady and predictable funding stream, our ability to continue the shelter is at stake." Tammy Legette, CEO of Discovery Home Care Inc.
Discovery Home Care Inc. youth emergency shelter cares for up t 11 homesless youth. DHC is supervised 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are two location to Charlotte & Gastonia NC.

Description
Discovery Home Care Emergency Youth Shelter directly addresses the youth homeless issue by bridging emergency youth shelter accommodations and much needed supplemental services to address the unique needs of the youngest victims of the homelessness epidemic.
As the issues of youth homelessness continue to emerge, viable and proven practices are critical to cauterizing the emergent wound of homelessness on its most vulnerable victims.
