We will be doing a Spruce Up of the Community Garden at Meadow Park in San Luis Obispo. Also we will be laying down cardboard and covering with mulch for all of the walkways. Tools provided, Gloves, Sunscreen and Water are recommended.

The City of San Luis Obispo Parks and Recreation Department has a range of volunteer opportunities for all age groups. Special event opportunities are a single day event such as the SLO Triathlon, Amgen Tour of California, and Trail Work Days. A few positions are available on an ongoing basis and can be used for community work service. No prior experience is necessary for any of the volunteer positions.
