On Saturday, October 21st, Lexington Habitat for Humanity will partner with Thrivent Financial, homeowners and community partners to complete exterior work on six homes in the East End neighborhood. In completing the work, we will be able to stabilize their property and help them to remain in their homes for longer as they age. These are families with a substantial need who are hoping to be able to remain in their homes as long as possible.
No specific skills or previous construction experience are necessary to participate. Breakfast and Lunch are provided for all volunteers.
Volunteers must be 18 to volunteer independently. All minors ages 16-17 must have a parent-signed waiver and must be accompanied by an adult over 21 in order to participate.
