If you like to see directly where your services is helping, this is the volunteer opportunity for YOU!
Tarrant Area Food Bank’s Mobile Pantry program is a traveling pantry that delivers food, including fresh produce and nutritious refrigerated items, directly to communities in high need. Like a Farmers Market, clients are able to choose what food items they will use.
Volunteers roles may include but are not limited to:
- Greeter and line monitor
- Registration Assistant
- Parking Lot Attendant
- Shopper Assistant
- Set up/Clean up
- Carrying Groceries to Vehicles
Volunteers must be 10 years or older and be able to stand for a period of time. Must be able to to lift 10 pounds and work outside.

Description
Tarrant Area Food Bank distributes food to more than 300 partner agencies in a thirteen county service region. In the past year, TAFB distributed over 30 million pounds of food to neighbors in need. TAFB also offers complementary programs such as nutrition education, food stamp outreach, mobile food distribution, food for children and community gardens for children and adults of our member agencies.
