You are invited to be a part of an unforgettable evening of epicurean splendor showcasing the talents of over 25 of the best chefs from San Diego and Baja at the annual Chef Throwdown on Friday, September 22nd from 6-11:30pm at the legendary Hotel del Coronado, benefitting Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The progressive evening will bring together local fashionable foodies awarding a 'People’s Choice’ and a Culinary Council of celebrity top chefs and food critics, awarding the Chef Flor Franco Awards for Culinary Excellence. Last year’s judges included Richard Sandoval, Troy Johnson, Sam-the-Cooking-Guy, Claudia Sandoval and Brian Malarkey.
6:00pm - 7:30pm | Chef Throwdown
Registration assistance on the Del's Windsor Lawn and greeting assistance for all arriving.
7:45pm - 9:30pm | Seated Dinner
Registration assiatnce and ushers to assist individuals to the Ballroom.

There are multiple opportunities to get involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The easiest way to start is to get in touch with the chapter and tell us about your interests and goals. Maybe you see yourself working at our gala, but maybe you want to help a little more and make a larger commitment. For those folks, we have an ongoing proCUREment team that secures donations for our events. This team meets once a month, and members can reap rewards for their involvment and success!
