Rotary Club of West Springfield is seeking a volunteer to assist with its Advertising and Marketing programs.
We are an international service organization whose purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. It is a secular organization open to all persons regardless of race, color, creed, religion, gender, or political preference. There are 34,282 clubs and over 1.2 million members worldwide. Our Club members usually meet weekly for breakfast, which is a social event as well as an opportunity to organize work on their service goals. Our motto is "Service above Self".
Objective: To increase advertising/sponsorships and club marketing programs.
Responsibilities: Attend all meetings, update and maintain advertising and sponsorships to keep it current and interesting. Find new ways to utilize the information for communication with members.
Qualifications: Knowledge of Rotary (can be on the job learning/training); working knowledge of club bylaws (can be on the job learning/training), familiarity with web sites. Excellent writing and editing skills as well as strong leadership and project management skills required
Average Time Commitment: Six hours per month.
