Active Choices' volunteers assist and support older adults on their journey to developing a healthier lifestyle.
Volunteers connect with participants through regular follow-up telephone calls over 6 months. Through these sessions, volunteers help participants formulate an individualized plan to start and maintain a regular physical activity routine. Exercises include cardio, strength, balance, flexibility, and tracking daily steps.
