Arts Ambassadors are members of the Thornton community that have a sincere interest in the growth and promotion of all arts and culture programs in The City of Thornton. Arts Ambassadors will work with artists, musicians, performers and various community member to assist Arts and Culture staff and the Arts & Culture division to increase awareness of arts and culture, develop and install art exhibitions and participate in various events, festivals and programs.

Arts Ambassadors must be at least 16 years of age with a cultural investment in the Thornton Community and willingness to promote cross-cultural involvement in the arts within the City of Thornton.

This is a one-year commitment.

Hours/ Shifts:

Required monthly meetings and some evenings and weekends (depending on events).

Volunteer Thronton, The City of Thornton's Volunteer Program engages citizens throughout the community by placing them in municipal departments based on volunteers' areas of interest. The City of Thornton has several established volunteer opportunities ranging from long-term placements to one-time events. The City of Thornton strives to be a model volunteer program for the Denver Metro area and beyond.
