This is our largest fundraiser event of the year! Join us, the American Heart Association, on Saturday, September 21th for the 2019 Milwaukee Heart & Stroke Walk / 5K Run at the beautiful Veterans Park situated on Milwaukee's Lakefront in support of building a healthier community, free of cardiovascular disease and stroke. This family-friendly event is totally FREE! Even leashed dogs are welcome!!

We get our passionate participants moving - the 5K Fun Run is slated for 8am, followed by the KIds Heart Challenge at 9am, and final a leisurely stroll in Veterans Park at 10am for the 1 or 3 mile Heart Walk. What else do we offer? CPR Demos, Kid Zone, Pet Zone, Music, Heart Healthy Snacks, Survivor Tributes, and MORE! This Village Area opens at 8 am. A FUN and FULFILLING event all-in-one!

We cannot pull off a successful event without YOU, our dedicated volunteers. We are in great need of ASSISTANCE with: registration/donation area, trail support, sponsor assistance, Kids Heart Challenge, parking, survivor area, food/beverage distribution, and set-up/take-down to name a few - assigned day of event.

Friday, September 20th from 12-3pm AND/OR Saturday, September 21th from 6:30am-Noon
