YOU can make a difference in the life of an older adult. Deliver a hot meal and a smile during lunch-time to a homebound senior. Volunteers use their own cars and pick-up meals at one of our 8 cafes located in Roseville, Rockln, Lincoln, Auburn or Colfax. Volunteers also have the option of being reimbursed for mileage.
Getting adequate nutrition is a serious concern for many seniors. Whether due to financial or physical limitations, it can sometimes be a challenge to purchase and prepare nutritious meals. Seniors First is proud to be the Meals on Wheels provider in Placer County the program is designed to provide seniors with hot meals and daily social interaction.
Help local seniors remain healthy and connected while making a positive impact in your community - become a Meals on Wheels delivery driver: Flexible day and time commitments, you can choose your service area, and mileage reimbursement is available. Must be 21 years or older.
