The Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic brings out over 10,000 people to ride 200 miles in just two days, making it the largest two day bike event in the Northwest.

Volunteers play a vital role in helping this event run smoothly. The packet pick up is an exciting environment where riders are eager to share stories about the STP.

The goal is for volunteers to have fun, keep the packet pickup running smoothly and stay organized.

Greeter - Cultivate a welcoming environment and help orient riders with directions to the registration table, packet pickup, bathrooms, etc.

Packet Pickup -
Are you a personable, patient volunteer who possesses a great welcoming-attitude and a big smile? Then this is the job for you! Involves handing out rider packets and answering general question about the ride.

Cashier - Sell bus, parking tickets and timing chips for riders who would like them. Previous experience working with cash, credit cards, an iPad, and checks is required.

Information Desk - Help keep everyone in the know. At this position you will look up rider bib numbers and answering general questions about the ride. Also responsible to keep track of lost and found items.

Volunteer at Large - Help with last minute needs, run errands, fill in and lend a hand as necessary. Bring a friendly smile.

Cascade Booth - This is a fun, interactive outreach role. You will be talking with members and riders about Cascade's work and helping folks to purchase memberships while sitting at the Cascade Outreach Booth.

Dress Code. Volunteers are representatives of CBC and are responsible for presenting a positive image to constituents and the community. Please wear your STP volunteer t-shirt if you have received one. If you have not received a t-shirt, one will be waiting for you at REI. Sturdy, reliable shoes.
