  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

The library is looking to start a Lego Club and needs volunteer leaders.

Lego Club will meet once a month and allow kids of all ages to create and explore with Legos. The Lego Club Leader will help set up for the event, interact with kids and help as needed, provide light supervision and help facilitate clean up.

This would be a great opportunity for a parent or grandparent of a Lego-loving kid who does not require constant supervision (since the Lego Club Leader will also need to be interacting with other kids).

This is a fairly easy, fun volunteer assignment. The main requirements are a love of kids and a commitment to coming every time you’re scheduled (or letting us know if you are not able to). It would be great if we could get someone committed to leading the Lego Club every month, but two volunteers committing to every other month would work as well.

Until the Lego Club is officially launched, we can work with volunteers to determine the best time and date to start the Lego Club (afternoons, evenings, Saturdays). It will start out once a month but may increase if interest warrants it.
