Sand Castle

Sponsored through the Cascade AIDS Project, Camp KC is a week-long, summer, sleepaway camp for youth who have or are affected by HIV. Camp is free of charge to eligible kids ages 5-15. Each summer, 35 to 40 campers come and enjoy a week of summer camp with others sharing similar changes.

We are seeking 30 enthusiastic, adult volunteers to be Cabin Counselors at Camp KC!

What do Cabin Counselors do?

Cabin Counselors work in teams of three to support a cabin of campers for the entire week of camp. Responsible for campers, Cabin Counselors ensure the campers are having fun, being supported, and staying safe. Cabin Counselors participate in tons of fun activities including arts & crafts, dance, hiking, music, swimming, and more. Cabin Counselors are supported by a plethora of leadership, specialist, and support staff.
