Our Plant Materials Project Coordinator Brigitte has been working hard out at Sonnenberg to get our greenhouse up and going but she could use some help! These plants are native to New York and will be planted in our wonderful New York State Parks throughout the Finger Lakes Region! We’re looking for a few people to come out for a few hours each day to help get things set up and get flats seeded. Below is a list of dates and times, please follow the link for the sign-up sheet. Description
We here at the Environmental Field team work in New York State Parks within the Finger Lakes Region. We work to remove invasive species, plant native species and restore woodlands, streambanks and fields We help to monitor endangered and threatened plants and animals that inhabit our parks to give them a habitat they can thrive in.
