Come support SafeHouse of the Desert by volunteering at The Great Inflatable Race, who will be donating a portion of their proceeds to our cause!
For each volunteer we provide, The Great Inflatable Race donates money to the SafeHouse of the Desert, so the more volunteers we get, the bigger the donation!
Requirements
- Must be 16 years old or older at the time of the event to volunteer
- Must stay for entire shift
- Must sign TGIR Participant & Volunteer Waiver
- Flexibility on your assigned task
- A smiling face!
If for some reason you cannot come for your volunteer shift, please let us know as soon as possible. We have a limited number of volunteer shifts, and many people on our waiting lists would love a chance to get in on this bouncy fun!
**If you are volunteering and want to participate in the race, you still need to sign-up as a volunteer first, then you can use the promo code SAFE when you register for the race to get a 5% discount of you ticket.

Mission Statement
Operation SafeHouse, with community support, provides emergency shelter, intervention and outreach services to runaway, homeless, and other youth in crisis. SafeHouse Offers youth positive alternatives to becoming victims of the streets.
Description
We are a shelter for youth at risk, in crisis, or a runaway. SafeHouse of the Desert will provide a critical alternative to young people whose lives are in turmoil. We have a 3 or 4 week program. Our 4 week program is our drug and alcohol program. Our goal is to keep the family unit together.
Age range is from 11 to 17.
