Fred Hutch is looking for individuals interested in volunteering at the Gift Shop located at the Fred Hutch outpatient clinic. The Gift Shop is a retail hub for patients, caregivers, staff and volunteers in the outpatient facility.
Persons must be able to make at 3-6 month commitment and be 18 years of age or older.
No retail experience is necessary but familiarity with computers is preferred.
A great opportunity to assist patients, families, staff and fellow volunteers.
Two volunteers assigned per shift so a great opportunity to meet other volunteers.
Our available shift times are Thursdays from 8:30am-12pm or 12pm-4pm and Fridays from 12pm-4pm.

Description
Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center will accelerate the development, evaluation, and use of new cancer discoveries and treatments and will offer patients greater access to clinical trials, bringing research and clinical care closer together. For current patients the superior care you have come to expect from us will continue uninterrupted. For example, as part of the transition to Fred Hutch there will be no changes to your doctor or care team. Over the longer term, this update to our structure will enable us to improve patients’ care experiences and increase integration across your care team.

- Tuberculosis screening and documentation of vaccination or immunity to Chickenpox (Varicella), Measles, Rubella and Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis), COVID-19/boosters, and Flu are required for all volunteers.
