Disc Golf at the Ohio State Fair
Share Your Love for Disc Golf With Others!

In return for working a 4 or 8 hour shift at the Disc Golf Demonstration area in the Camper Village in the Natural Resources Park at the Ohio State Fair, volunteers will receive a free T-shirt, admission ticket and parking pass. We need volunteers to assist us in running the Disc Golf Demonstration Area. The Disc Golf Demonstration Area has become a popular place for fairgoers to stop as they pass through the ODNR Natural Resources Park. We have a small, 3-hole disc golf course for guests to play through. Responsibilities of our volunteers are to teach guests the fundamentals and rules of disc golf and monitor players so that injuries are avoided.

The Disc Golf Demonstration area is such a richer place to visit when it is filled with volunteers who are passionate about the sport and want to show others what it has to offer. If you know of any friends, family, etc. that are familiar with disc golf, or would enjoy volunteering for several hours, please pass this information along to them. Volunteers must be 16 years or older, unless accompanied by an adult.Shifts run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Please contact Eric Shlapack at 614-265-6904 or Eric.Shlapack@dnr.state.oh.us for more information or to sign up.
