The Welcoming Ambassador Volunteer is the first point of contact and first impression of the patient, families and visitors to Longs Peak Hospital. The impression you present is extremely important and can affect the way the patient, family and visitors feel about us. The Ambassador must demonstrate excellence in customer service at all times.
- Avoid asking any personal questions; respond to the guest’s questions and refer all medical questions to the appropriate person.
- Be alert to the condition of the patient, so that we can offer wheelchair assistance if necessary.
- Greets and appropriately escorts all patients, families and visitors and staff.
- Maintains patient, family, visitor, and staff confidentiality.
- Delivers flowers/cards/presents to patients as requested.
- Locates and keeps supply of wheelchairs at front entrance.
- Other duties as assigned.

Description
UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital and an ambulatory surgery center will span 212,000 square feet on the northwest corner of Colorado Highway 119 and County Line Road.
The full-service hospital is expected to open in 2017. It will contain 53 inpatient beds with room to expand to more than 100. The hospital will feature an intensive care unit, a Level III trauma center and emergency department, operating rooms, advanced cardiac services and a surgery center.
