Hospice volunteers are men and women from all ages and backgrounds. FIDELIS HOSPICE volunteers bring their own special warmth and unique personalities to hospice individuals and their families living with and advanced illness in Marion Manor in Taunton, MA. FIDELIS HOSPICE volunteers offer comfort, companionship, and support.
PLEASE REMEMBER, no special skills are required-anyone 18 years of age or older who is a compassionate individual can become a hospice volunteer! An on-line training is provided, team support and a great way to make a difference. If you can offer your kindness for one hour a week, this may be the perfect volunteer opportunity for you! At Fidelis Hospice, our primary goals are to provide comfort and promote the dignity of the terminally ill while relieving physical, emotional and spiritual suffering. Our care is provided in the home, nursing home, assisted living facility or wherever our patients call home. We offer an holistic approach to care provided by a dedicated team of caring professionals led by a physician which includes a nurse, social worker, chaplain, hospice aide and volunteer!
