There is no educational or occupational preference for a mediator. Persons who provide mediation through our non-profit become certified by completing a 40-hour training course followed by 10 hours of observation. Training can be provided at a low cost to a volunteer who makes a commitment to mediate an average of two cases per month for three years. The next training provided is forecasted to be offered in the Spring of 2018. Please call our office at (906) 253-9840 or visit our website at www.eupmediate.org. Our physical address is 128 W. Spruce Street and our mailing address is P.O. Box 505, Sault Ste Marie, MI 49783.
