Industrial Stormwater COI

The AmeriCorps member position will be coordinating our outreach and education program. The goal of this program is to meet face-to-face with business representatives; provide information on the ISCOI and resources we offer; distribute technical assistance documents and contact information; collect data on the barriers businesses face and types of assistance they need to reach compliance; and use this data to inform the resources we develop.

Key Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Cold-call businesses to set up meeting appointments
  • Manage shared MS Outlook calendar with meeting appointments
  • Meet on-site with business representatives
  • Conduct survey, provide information about the ISCOI and educational materials regarding stormwater management
  • Make follow-up calls to all businesses to conduct exit survey
  • Attend and participate in quarterly ISCOI meetings, ISCOI sub-committee meetings as necessary
  • Assist with planning and organizing workshops, training sessions, and monthly lunch meetings
  • Assist with communications materials and social media outreach
  • Manage and update database of contact information for target businesses
  • Analyze survey responses to understand the needs of the community
  • Complete quarterly progress reports
