  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Our building projects opportunity requires no previous experience in construction all a volunteer needs is his or her hands and a readiness to work. The help of volunteers with the building projects is crucial to the expansion of our tutoring and youth enrichment programs in the Northeast communities.

Building volunteers have the chance to work with their hands, break a sweat, become acquainted with people of different communities, and to help us significantly impact the lives of youth.

Description

We are a nonprofit dedicated to the enrichment of youth and we do this in three programs:

One-by-One- is a tutoring program that provides individual academic tutoring to at-risk inner-city kids in elementary school (K-5th grade) who are paired with a tutor for the school year.

Transformers- is a bible club where kids (K-5th grade) will get to know God and each other better through interactive Bible lessons, crafts, songs, games, and snacks! We also partner with the parents helping them embrace their God-given role of instructing their children.

Youth Group- is a program where youth (6th-12th grade) are mentored by young adult who walk with students through the challenges of life and have a lot of fun together too through various activities (service projects, trips, and retreats). Youth also learn and grow from each other through spending time together in large groups as well as small groups of girls and boys.
