Goal: To help give a patient and their family a special memory to celebrate their birthday or another important day/event.

AseraCare is searching for Cookie and Cake Bakers to help celebrate what may be a patient’s last birthday or request. Volunteers will deliver donated baked goods such as cookies, cupcakes, cakes, or other preferred desserts as requested by the patient or their family and FACILITY. Volunteers can drop off baked goods at our office on the day of the event, or deliver them directly to our patient, if approved.

All Bakers:

• Can volunteer from home
• Can bake specialized baked goods for our patients for special occasions.
• Can bring joy and happiness by delivering a personalized themed treat; such as a Veteran Themed cake, or seasonal themed cake, or your basic birthday cake and cards.
• Will receive a month notice for any and all upcoming birthday celebrations.

This volunteer opportunity is available to the following types of volunteers

Volunteers who donate baked goods, can be of all ages, emphasis on 18yrs or older.

We need volunteers who are free at these times

Volunteers will receive ample time to prepare and bake any goods; therefore, volunteers will need to be free to deliver their goods either 1 day prior to the event or on the day of.
