Morning Volunteers for Therapeutic Horseback Riding - Side Walkers!

Pony Power Therapies is looking for volunteers to assist in therapeutic horse-back riding lessons as side walkers for our Summer Semester! Under the supervision of a certified riding instructor, the side walker walks next to the horse to provide support to the rider as needed. Lessons run Monday through Thursday. Our Summer Semester begins on July 10th and runs through to August 24th.

Available morning shifts (8:30 AM to 10:30 AM):

• Monday, July 10th
• Wednesday, July 12th
• Thursday, August 17th

UPCOMING TRANING CLASSES:

• Wednesday, July 5 th, 3:00 to 4:30 PM
• Thursday, July 6 th, 10:00 to 11:30 AM
• Sunday, July 9 th, 10:00 to 11:30 AM

Volunteer Handbook, application and schedule will be emailed to you and application needs to be returned to our office prior to registering for a volunteer training class.

Pony Power Therapies gives special needs and at-risk children and adults a unique opportunity to ride, care for and interact with horses. Our riding and non-riding activities enhance individuals' physical, social and emotional well-being in a safe, nurturing farm environment.
