Sunday Streets is an open street program in San Francisco that creates miles of car-free space for people to enjoy free, fun activities provided by neighborhood groups, nonprofit orgs, and local merchants. Prior to each event, considerable outreach is involved. That’s where the Street Team comes in!
What: Street Team Volunteers get to explore San Francisco neighborhoods by foot and invite neighboring residents and the community to participate at Sunday Streets to ensure everyone is notified of parking and traffic changes. Times can be flexible. Street Team shifts are 3-hours.

Additional Help: If you'd like to do additional outreach in a particular neighborhood - deliver posters and fliers to neighbors and businesses - or would like to help out but are unable to attend the scheduled volunteer shift, please email yess@livablecity.org. We'd love to have your help!

Sunday Streets encourages recreation, community activities and fun in San Francisco by opening city streets to people for several hours on a various Sundays for people to bike, walk, run, dance, do yoga, or do any other physical activity.
