Camp Kesem at James Madison University is looking for a nurse and/or Mental Health Professional to join their summer camp team! Our chapter, one of 86 Camp Kesem chapters across the United States, offers a free week-long camp for kids affected by their parent’s cancer. Camp is free to attend, and the camp is planned, managed, and staffed by college student volunteers from James Madison University.

Camp will be held from August 13th-19th at Camp Holiday Trails in Charlottesville, VA.

As mental health professional you will be responsible for counseling campers and counselors on various issues. Some of these issues are behavioral but others may tie to home situations or bereavement. You must have a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, School Counseling, or a related Mental Health field.
