ORGANIZATION: Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History

  • 4 people are interested

This July the Southern Museum will host its annual Railroad Rendezvous event, and we need volunteers to help us make it an entertaining time for all. The event will be on Saturday, July 15th and lasts most of the day. Railroad Rendezvous includes activities and games inside the museum along with bluegrass music and the chance to board the General locomotive.

Volunteers for this event will help us with crafts, games, greeting and registering visitors, and operating the model train layouts that will be located throughout the museum. You will get the chance meet and interact with adults and children of all ages while helping the museum with one of our major annual events. We will be having three different volunteer shifts: AM (8:45-1), PM (12:45-5), and All Day; if you are able to volunteer during a different time period please let us know.

Railroad Rendezvous was attended by over 600 people last year and we hope you will join us to make this another successful and enjoyable event for all!
