The Program Review Committee (PRC) is affiliated with the Department of Economic Security/Division of Development Disabilities program. PRC is responsible for reviewing our members' behavioral treatments plans for the purpose of assuring their rights as persons with a developmental disability. Our "members" are those persons with the following developmental disabilities: cognitive/intellectual disability, autism, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. PRC is seeking committee members to review and provide feedback on the plans submitted. People with direct care experience, parents of a person with developmental disabilities, psychologists or psychiatrists and people with no financial / employment interest are most urgently needed to fulfill positions on the committee. Must be professional and adhere to confidentiality expectations. Time commitment: once a month, four to eight hours, for a minimum of one year. General orientation, HIPAA Training and on-the-job training provided.

Description

Coordinates and provides services and supports for people of all ages who have a developmental disability. Children 0-5 may be eligible of they have a developmental delay or are at risk of a developmentl disability. Services include support coordination; in-home family support; supported living; adult programs; adaptive equipment; early intervention; physical, occupational and speech therapies; and counseling.
