Become a Hospice Volunteer and embark on an amazing path to share your time, talents, passion and presence to people and their families facing the end-of-life journey. Dignity Hospice of Colorado is looking for volunteers throughout the Metro area to provide non-medical supportive services such as companionship, life review, reading, playing music, watching TV/movies, alternative healing therapies, pet therapy, respite care, and providing a compassionate, peaceful presence.

As a Volunteer, you are an integral member of the hospice team and are provided with free, comprehensive training (including CPR certification) in order to feel confident and comfortable providing companionship to patients. Your time is valuable, and we do our best to provide opportunities that utilize your special skills, gifts and talents in a way that is meaningful to you and the people you serve. You will have support throughout each step of the process because we appreciate the care you provide. Volunteers are the Heart of Hospice!

Opportunities are available throughout the Denver Metro area, however currently most needed in the areas North of Denver proper: Brighton, Thornton, Northglenn, and Broomfield. Times and frequency of visits are as flexible as your schedule requires, and are located primarily in skilled care facilities.
