Mad City Money

Mad City Money is a 3.5 hour hands-on simulation workshop for youth ages 14-24 (as a guideline - but we work with all ages). This workshop gives youth a taste of the real world and they learn how to manage their money. They learn the importance of needs vs. wants, budgeting, saving, debt, credit, and balancing their checking account. We also make it fun by adding raffles for gift cards and the grand prize raffle of an Apple Watch.

Free Lunch for Volunteers!

Volunteesrs are asked to become merchants in the Mad City Money. In Mad City there are nine merchants including: car dealer, entertainment, grocery store/restaurant, home stuff, kid care, the mall, realtor, credit union and a clothing and accessories store. The most important quality of a merchant is to stay in the role of salesperson and make the experience fun for the youth. You will receive more details during the volunteer training
