The newly opened Medicine Park Aquarium & Natural Sciences Center is excited to announce its inaugural Volunteer Docent Tour Guide training on June 28 th. There will two opportunities to attend the orientation at the Aquarium: from 11:00am to noon and from 5:00 to 6:00pm. Participants will undergo a one-hour orientation that will acquaint them with the mission and policy. Once the training is completed, Docents and Tour Guides may volunteer as frequently as they are able in pre-scheduled, two-hour shifts. Volunteers do not need previous experience or knowledge but will be working actively with guests in the Aquarium galleries as well as the wildflower and butterfly gardens. The digital application is available on the Aquarium website or individuals may contact Colleen Edwards at colleen@mpmns.org.
