ORGANIZATION: Ada Community Library - Victory Branch

The Human Library(tm) is designed to build a positive framework for conversations that can challenge stereotypes and prejudices through dialogue. This year's is taking place during Mental Health Awareness month on May 19th, 1-5 pm at Storey Park in Meridian in conjunction with the Indigo Idaho Art Fest. We are seeking books who have experience with mental health issues, personally, in caring for a loved one, or in a professional capacity.

Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
