Park Store Volunteer

In October 2016, the Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, Inc. (FOTHPSP) assumed full responsibility for managing the Park Store. The store is open seven days a week, including holidays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. To provide an excellent level of service, we need multiple staff in the store at all times. We are looking for volunteers to work four or eight hour shifts, preferably on a regular basis one or more days a week. Our most critical needs are between the hours of 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. If you would be interested in volunteering to work in the Park Store or in supporting the other activities and events sponsored by the FOTHPSP, please call the Park Store at 850 267-8333 or email the "friendsofthsp@gmail.com".

In addition to providing Park guests with the typical campground supplies, the store also rents bicycles, canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. Our volunteers provide campers with Park information and assistance, introduce guests to the Park’s Geocache activities and interpretive programs, and serve as Park ambassadors in the absence of Park staff.
