Mentors come to the school to meet with the same student once a week for 30 minutes. They become a role model and coach for students. These students just enjoy having someone come to check in with them once a week. It is very rewarding for the mentor also! Contact me for more information on this opportunity!

Description
Mentors come once a week to meet with a student one on one for 30 minutes. Mentors talk to students and help them academically or just socially. Some mentors work and go away on business, which is fine. They just let their mentee know that they will be out of town next week, Most mentors meet at the child's lunch time. There is a one time training, volunteer application, and fingerprint approval (only once but no cost).
