SOWW is asking for your help to assist with the large number of fundraisers, activities and events we have throughout the year, both at the Warrior Retreat and other locations around the local community, such as Bike Rides, local fundraisers, cake competitions, chili cook offs, holiday celebrations and visits to local military hospitals. We welcome your support.

There are a number of special events throughout the year that help to make SOWW amazing. Help us support one or several fabulous events like Monte Carlo Night, Open Houses, The Gala, Poker Run, Golf Tournament, Warrior Barbecues and holiday hospital visits. This is a fun way to get involved, meet our volunteer teams and many of the Warriors we serve. We are currently in need volunteers to support this team and Special Event Coordinator. SOWW Special Event Coordinators are highly organized, enthusiastic individual who will interface with interested community sponsors and organize volunteer teams for these events. Events may be fundraisers for SOWW and the Warrior Retreat or community activities. Contact us for more details!

To provide support and encouragement to our nation’s warriors and their families during their recovery process and a peaceful retreat for them to escape to and rebuild their lives.

Description

For nearly a decade, Serve Our Willing Warriors (SOWW) has been providing "a little taste of home" for our wounded, ill and injured Warriors and their Families at both the Walter Reed and Fort Belvoir Community Hospitals. Our annual events have included gift-giving at holidays, summer cookouts and visitation with lonely service and family members.
