Between July 11-August 11 we are going full swing with our 7th annual Uptown Summer! The Rensselaer County Summer Youth Employment Program sponsored the Sanctuary for Independent Media to hire 10 new local youth this year. Over the span of 5 weeks, we will focus on several infrastructure projects to help build our environmental campus and help improve y(our) spaces.

We've organized these tasks into categories based on skill-level. Several tasks could be completed as independent projects by different people with those skills. Some group projects will include our Uptown Summer youth, please let us know if you would be interested in overseeing a project with their help.

Check out the task list below and let us know if you can help with any of these projects and feel free to bring a buddy! If you don't see anything on the list and would still like to help us, please let us know.
