We are looking for volunteers to help with our annual 5K fun walk/run for SCAD (Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection), a not common heart disease that mainly impacts young women (average age 42). The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is conucting the largest research study on SCAD and we are raising funds and awarenss for SCAD. We need volunteers to help with registration. parking, cheering on the route and food service. Children from age 10 and up are welcome to volunteer. We also sign off for teenagers who need credit. All volunteers will receive a T-Shirt and lunch.

SCAD typically affects younger, otherwise healthy individiuals especially women. SCAD can be fatal. SRI is a grassroot non profit that raises funds and awareness for the largest SCAD study in the world at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
