Are you a quilter, fashion designer, interior decorator, or just someone who love, love, LOVES fabric? If so, we have just the volunteer opportunity for you! SCRAP PDX is currently searching for fabric pricing volunteers. As a non profit organization and community craft supply store, we receive an incredible amount of fabric donations each week. Our volunteers help us to measure, price, and roll fabric to be put out on our sale floor while helping us maintain the fabric area.
As if seeing and touching beautiful fabrics all day weren't incentive enough, our volunteers get a 20% off discount of their used materials purchases. Description
SCRAP is a non-profit waste reduction/reuse retail store and educational outreach program. By breathing new life into old objects, we help the environment by reducing landfill overcrowding. We support Portland's education, art and non-profit communities by providing them with inexpensive materials for their important work. Our donors save money and disposal costs, and receive tax benefits.
