VOLUNTEERS MUST LIVE IN MONMOUTH COUNTY NEW JERSEY. Can you help transport injured or orphaned wild birds to licensed NJ wild avian (bird) rehabilitators for the Associated Humane Societies animal shelter Tinton Falls? Transports are made as needed & volunteers sign up to be on-call & committed for specific days to transport. Spring thru Fall are especially busy times but we need transporters year-round.
We are avian ambulance drivers. We pick up the contained birds & drive them directly to the rehabilitation center, The Raptor Trust in Millington NJ or sometimes to the rehab center in Toms River. VBTB is the lifeline to recovery for these birds! email us for more details

The Volunteer Bird Transport Brigade (VBTB) mission is to help transport injured or orphaned wild birds to licensed NJ wild avian (bird) rehabilitators for the Associated Humane Societies animal shelters. Transports are made as needed & volunteers sign up to be on-call & committed for specific days to transport. Spring thru Fall are especially busy times. We are avian ambulance drivers. We do not have the radio on while driving the birds nor pause for selfies nor to show the stressed bird to anyone. VBTB is the lifeline to recovery for these birds!
