Employment is an important part of the reentry process. Those without gainful employment are much more likely to recidivate. The bottom line is, without a job, people often struggle with a loss of income and a loss of self-esteem.
Our Job Readiness Instructor will provide training for members to prepare them to seek or obtain employment, and to keep their jobs once they are hired.
Having California teaching credentials or experience facilitating a job or career readiness training program is a plus but not required.
You may bring your own curriculum for us to review. We also have a curriculum in development.
Note: This volunteer position is for the Elk Grove/South Sacramento, California, area only.

We offer a variety of programs to help adult and/or juvenile offenders re-integrate into the community following their release from a correctional facility.
