St. Jude North Texas Bicycle Rally- Volunteers needed

At St. Jude Children's Research Hospital families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food so all they have to worry about is helping their child live. Our community walk will help raise money to support the hospital. It costs $2.2m a day to run the hospital, so donations are important to keeping the doors open.

We are looking for volunteers to help us execute the St. Jude North Texas Bicycle Rally on October 10 that begins at The Terrace in the Town of Westlake.

The following opportunities are for Day of event:

• Registration:
  
  • On-event registration: 2 adults
• Setup/breakdown at The start line
• Set- up of tables, chairs: 5 volunteers (ages 10 and over)
• Display sponsor banners: 5 volunteers (any age)
• Wipe down table/chairs in hospitality area: 10 volunteers (any age)
• Event site clean-up: 10 volunteers (ages 10 and up)
• Staffing Rest Stops along the route (groups preferred)
  • Groups preferred
  • Each location needs approx. 10 volunteers- 4 adults and 6 any age
  • Multiple locations available
• Sign twirlers encouraged
• Greeters
  • Large groups preferred throughout the route.- unlimited # all ages

Community service credit will be given for students. A letter will be provided to those that can receive a corporate donation to St. Jude for volunteer hours. All will be given once you complete your day of volunteering.
