Invictus Institute is a 501c3 organization that arranges for kids in developing countries to be tutored via Skype.

We are looking to create thorough powerpoints of key concepts the students need to catch up on in a variety of subjects. These will be used during online tutoring sessions - volunteers will use the powerpoint and other worksheets/supplementary materials to teach the subject.

Here are examples of subjects we're looking for:

  • Mathematics Concepts (i.e. Polynomial Addition/Subtraction/Multiplication/Division, Graphing, etc.) *Includes Algebra and Geometry.
  • Physics Concepts (Kinematics, Dynamics, Electricity)
  • Ancient Greek literature
  • Modern Greek literature
  • Introductory Biology (including Human Anatomy)
  • English language basics

This is a great opportunity for college students majoring in one of the above topics, for teachers (past, present, or future!), college students, and anyone else looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of refugee children through education!

The deliverable will be a powerpoint presentation with information, videos, and practice exercises. You can create as many power points as you'd like, and even supplement them with worksheets, interactive links, and other supplementary learning materials.

Please email us at volunteer@invictusinstitute.org if interested.
